Nancy O'Dell's debut position in the broadcasting industry was as a reporter/anchor for WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later she was a morning-news anchor as well as crime reporter for WCBD TV. O'Dell's reports in Charleston about the police's leniency in DUI cases, prompted the State Law Enforcement Division to examine. The result was state authorities issuing more strict guidelines in these cases. Ms. O'Dell was honored by the Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year Award all media South Carolina. Following her stint living in Charleston, O'Dell worked as a co-anchor for the NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and also as an investigative reporter. After that, she was hired by Access Hollywood to work as an anchor on weekends and weekdays. O'Dell, in addition to anchoring the main show for Access Hollywood, also appears on NBC News Today as well Dateline NBC. She has reported on events like The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted the Pre ShowArrivals Shows at The Emmys. She has also hosted the Miss USA Pageant and Miss Universe.
